Soon, people suffering from menstrual cramps will be be able to relax with some cannabis lavender bath soak courtesy of Whoopi Goldberg.

The actress and TV host is teaming up with marijuana entrepreneur Maya Elisabeth to launch a medical marijuana company with products designed to treat period pain.

“This was all inspired by my own experience from a lifetime of difficult periods and the fact that cannabis was literally the only thing that gave me relief,” Goldberg said in a press release. “The only products available to us were filled with ingredients we couldn’t even pronounce and I discovered that I was not alone in this.”

The View co-host teamed up with Elisabeth, owner of the women-run marijuana edibles company Om Edibles in California, to launch Whoopi & Maya.

The idea is to create pot products that people can use throughout the day. The company’s first product line will include cannabis-infused bath soaks, cacao, body rubs and tinctures.

“For me, I feel like if you don’t want to get high, this is a product specifically just to get rid of discomfort. Smoking a joint is fine, but most people can’t smoke a joint and go to work,” Goldberg told Vanity Fair.

“This, you can put it in your purse. You can put the rub on your lower stomach and lower back at work, and then when you get home you can get in the tub for a soak or make tea, and it allows you to continue to work throughout the day.”

The company is launching in California, where voters will weigh in on a measure to legalize recreational marijuana in November.

It’s not clear whether Whoopi & Maya will sell products across the border to Canadians, where medical marijuana is legal, but must be purchased from licensed Canadian producers or self-grown. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government has promised to legalize recreational pot, but has not released a timeline.
